Time Flies!

This is my grandson Noah taking a spin in the same tricycle his grandmother(me) used to play with when she was little. While I was visiting the folks the other weekend they let me have the tricycle with the fringe on top. Rocketman wasn't too thrilled to be bringing more "junk" (his words, not mine) home but when he saw Noah on it, he changed his mind.

Poor Noah, our driveway is slanted towards the street and he lost control of the bike and ended up fast first in the grass. Thank goodness he steered it towards the grass and not the street. As soon as I saw this happening, I took off after him but it was too late to stop it.

He laid there with his face in the grass for a few seconds stunned and then the crying began. Luckily he was all right but he didn't really want to ride it after that.

Here is the only picture I have of me riding the bike with my cousin. I must have been 4 or 5 then. We had a big basement in my first house and we could ride it in the basement. I can't believe now my grandson can ride the same bike.

  1. What a cool trike! That's so neat that it's still around.

  2. Becky, That is the coolest trike I've seen. I absolutely love the fact that you are able to share this with your Grandson. How nice! Helen Hughes
