Yes, I'm thinking about Christmas. I tend to think about it all year round especially where my maedeup is concerned. I love to give maedeup gifts and so it requires some planning ahead. This week I made a string of red and green garakji maedeups. I used silver and gold 1mm cording from South Korea to dress up the garakji.

Ah, I've been wanting to make garakji earrings for so long. I have the cord, and the earring hooks, and I used to be able to do the knot. Just a matter of sitting back down and getting into it again. These would be great gifts, too....
