South Korea Vacation Part 20 - Busan, South Korea - Gamcheon Culture Village Part Three

As we were making our way out of the village, I stopped and noticed this poor puppy on a short lease. I have seen it countless times in Korea but it still upsets me to see it. We heard a little child crying but since we were in a residential area also, I didn't give it much thought. But Hannah insisted that it was not a child upset at his mom but the cry of a child who was scared. This is one of the things that amaze me about Korea, most Koreans have this sort of sense where they look at your body language or speech and can tell things about you like Hannah did with this little child.
She went off and sure enough came back with a little, very scared boy. He had lost his mother somewhere in the village. He could not stop sobbing and shaking. He was so very scared. We told him we would find his momma.
The first thing I thought of was to call the police. No one came running looking for a child and he didn't remember where his mother was when he became lost. Hannah got onto the phone to call the police.
It seemed like forever but it was only about 10-15 minutes when the father came frantically running to us. It was his daddy.
He was so happy to find him. Mommy was still shopping I guess but all ended well. The father kept telling us thank you both in English and in Korean. It was wonderful to see them reunited.
