We couldn't believe how dead it was especially on a weekend. There was nobody there and we had the streets to ourselves. A few business were closed but most were open and shop clerks were standing outside in the bitter cold.
I find that I still don't like to see slippers and leggings sold this way. It kinda creeps me out.
We saw this Christmas display as we walked around Namdaemun but as we walked past it when we left, they had already taken it all down.
We even saw a saxophone player. This a scrubbies for dishes.
Awwwww, now if I just had a little girl to buy this for. It was darling and I should have bought it anyway.
Gotta love those silkworm larvae that you find all over during this time of year. I just haven't been able to get up the nerve to try them. Maybe if they served them with ketchup.
I loved these boots. There were tiny and pencil holders.
I made a couple of new friends.Where were all the people? We would find out later in the day.
But Mama...
This restaurant is ready to serve!I LOVE the street vendors. The food looked sooooo delicious and it's beautiful just to look at.
I felt bad for the baby octopuses that were in that tank.
This was near the entrance of Namdaemun Market. Where were all the people? My next post will tell you where. I broke up Christmas Day into several posts because it was photo heavy and Blogger has been giving me a lot of trouble when I try to upload more than three photos. It locks up and then I have to start all over again.
I have to wonder why 2PM's picture is pasted on to Eunjung and not onto Nichkhun. :D
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a wonderful traveling experience, though I'm shivering just looking at the pictures. So much to see. I'm looking forward to the next post :-)
