FaveCrafts Blog Hop!

The 15th of each month I am participating in the FaveCrafts Blog Hop. It just so happen that this month it fell on my Maedeup Monday so I hope you won't mind. Maedeup Monday will return next week at it's regularly scheduled time.

Materials
Polymer clay: brown, black, white and yellow
Artificial fall leaf
½” round magnet
E6000 adhesive
Knife (polymer clay dedicated)
Toothpick
Circle template (optional)

Instructions
1. Body: Flatten a 5/8” brown ball into a 1 ¼” long oval.

2. Eyes: Flatten two 1/8” white balls into teardrops. Press onto body. Pupils: Roll two 3/32” black balls and press one onto each eye.

3. Beak: Roll a 3/16” yellow ball into a cone shape. Use a knife to cut beak in half only going half way down. Press onto body under eyes.

4. Wings: Flatten two 3/16” brown balls into teardrops. Use the toothpick to make three lines in the widest end. Press onto each side of the body.

5. Feet: Roll two 5/32” yellow balls into ¼” long logs. Use the toothpick to make two lines in each log. Press onto the bottom of the body.

6. Hat: Flatten a 3/8” black ball into a ½” square. Round upper corners. Brim: Roll a 3/16” black ball into a ½” log. Press brim to the bottom of the hat and press the hat onto the top of the body.
7. Bake according to manufacturer’s instructions. 30 minutes at 265 degrees. Let cool.

8. Glue leaf to the back of the turkey and glue a magnet to the back of the leaf.
